Welcome to the Currituck Education Foundation homepage!

The Currituck Education Foundation supports public education in Currituck with funding to meet needs, in order to create an engaged, educated community. Founded in 2016, we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and we have engaged in fundraising and collecting donations to make our schools better here in Currituck County. We are growing stronger but need your support in order for us to help our educators and school personnel. We seek businesses and individuals who are willing to partner with us to best support and benefit the education of our students. We are proud to support the students and educators in the Currituck County Public Schools!

Endowment Fund

We are continuing to accept donations to the Currituck Education Foundation Endowment Fund. You can give in two ways:

Give directly to Currituck Education Foundation

Give directly to North Carolina Community Foundation

We appreciate your continued support and thank you for considering an endowment gift to benefit the Currituck Education Foundation. Our endowment is a fund of the North Carolina Community Foundation. Your donation will help our endowment fund continue to grow and provides us with sustainable fund earnings that will benefit our mission and programs for generations to come.

Dining With Local "Celebrities"
The Currituck Education Foundation hosted a very successful "Dining with Local Celebrities" fundraiser at BJ's Carolina Cafe in Jarvisburg on Friday, February 24th and raised over $2000. The money will be used for mini-grants and to support the staff and students in Currituck. A big shout out goes to our well-known Currituck "celebrity" servers Josh Bass, Bobby Hanig, Selina Jarvis, Dr. Matt Lutz and Paul O'Neal and to the fantastic waitstaff at BJ's Carolina Cafe. A special thank you to BJ's for allowing us to host our fundraiser at their restaurant. It was a great night of food and fellowship for a great cause.

Wilson Snowden Endowment

The Wilson Snowden Endowment was established to honor the memory of Wilson Snowden and his service to the volunteer fire departments. The endowment will be used to support future training efforts to ensure county Fire and EMS workers can continually train and remain on the cutting edge of safety practices. This also matches Leeward Renewable Energy's commitment to the community and public safety.
